The theme of the Artificial Intelligence for Logistics and Sustainability (AILS2026) workshop, marks the transition from fascination with technology’s potential to its implementation and generation of real business benefits. In the logistics sector, digital transformation has ceased to be a technological trend and has become a strategic necessity, requiring the redesign of business models and operational processes.
This workshop aims to analyze how digital transformation—including both artificial intelligence and the broader ecosystem of IT solutions—supports the logistics and sustainability in modern business. Papers should focus on the perspective of management and quality sciences, examining organizational readiness and the challenges related to data quality, which are essential for digital technologies to deliver sustainable value. This workshop provides a forum for exchanging knowledge on how to move from the experimental phase to solutions that not only increase efficiency but also solve real environmental and social problems while maintaining business sustainability, especially in the area of logistics.
