About the Seminar
The seminar brings together researchers, educators, industries, agricultural producers and exporters, and agricultural entrepreneurs to discuss the issues, perspectives, dimensions, challenges, and opportunities for transforming agriculture to feed the world's ever-increasing population in a sustainable and profitable manner. Traditional agricultural practices have been disrupted by technological innovation in recent years. This National Seminar is devoted to presenting and examining various issues that are related to current problems in agriculture in India and abroad. The presenters are expected to discuss, among other things, how new technologies can help increase yields/productivity and profits while having a small and positive impact on the environment; how digital platforms enable information to flow in real time, how to build sustainable supply chains, and other emerging issues. Through this national seminar, CIMP offers a forum for the lively discussion of innovations, sustainability, technology, and financial investments in agriculture.
Theme of the seminar
The theme of the national seminar is to discuss the challenges, opportunities, and new ideas to increase the export of agricultural products. Researchers are invited to share research papers on all areas of agriculture, including:

- Challenges faced by farmers, farmer-producer organisations
- Opportunities for start-ups in the agricultural export domain

About Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna
Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna was inaugurated in 2008 by His Excellency the then Vice-President of India, Md. Hamid Ansari, as the dream-project of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar to resurrect the ancient educational glory of Bihar. It is an autonomous institute of excellence in management education, consultancy and research set up by the Government of Bihar on the lines of Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). CIMP offers full time AICTE Approved, NBA accredited and AIU recognized Post- Graduate Diploma in Management Programme; full time AICTE approved Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and Executive Programme in Management (EXPM) for the officials of Government of Bihar and executives/managers from various industries/corporate. Apart from this, CIMP also provides short-term Training Programme, Research and Consulting services for various departments, agencies and bodies of the government and the corporate.
CIMP is in Rank Band: 101-125 (Management Category) by NIRF 2023 in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Rankings 2023. CIMP stands in top 100 in Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF).

How to reach CIMP
Patna is well connected by air and rail to the major cities throughout India. The main airport in Patna is Jai Prakash Narayan Airport. It offers direct flights to all major Indian cities on all weekdays. The institute is located four kilometres from the airport. The Patna Railway Station is 1.5 kilometres from the Institute's main campus. Trains run from the station to all of India's major cities.
