The Sri Lanka Technological Campus is a research university engaged in developing and transferring knowledge and skills in Engineering, Business, Information Technology and other disciplines.
The campus is recognized as an organization fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Through research work with the industry, it aims to develop those areas of research and technology necessary to the industry.
The Sri Lanka Technological Campus is holding a conference on 19 November 2022 to compile and assemble the research and innovations developed in the region to reduce and minimize the impacts of the Covid 19 on the society, the economy, and the environment.
It will provide an opportunity to present through the research, the findings and observations and positive changes that resulted in the economy, society, and the environment and the factors that influence those changes.
It would allow policymakers and industrialists to use that knowledge to develop long-term and short-term plans for sustainable benefits that would continue to accrue to them.
The conference would inform the academic and business communities and the public of the information needed and valuable to operate their investments in areas considered essential.
In addition, the conference also aims to use the research and innovations developed to find medium and long-term solutions to problems that affect the country.
The SLTC would also like to know about the particular projects and activities that were initiated during the time, including the reorganization of the departments and institutions that were affected at the time.
The projects and activities would have been established with specific objectives in mind to reduce and manage the risks and outcomes that arose due to the remedial measures adopted at the time.
