About Administrative Staff College of India
The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) is an institution of excellence and national importance. ASCI is a registered society by the constitution. It is an autonomous, self-supporting, public-purpose institution with the objectives of a think-tank for policy inputs and to build the capacities of practicing professionals in the management of government and business enterprises. ASCI equips corporate managers, administrators, entrepreneurs and academicians with the skills to synthesize managerial theory and practice; and respond to the ever-increasing complexity of managerial issues confronting government, industrial enterprises and non-government organizations. It provides opportunities to State and Central Government Departments and Ministries in India and abroad and the industry, to develop sustainable policies, devise inclusive strategies and deploy robust plans towards improved economic performance, human development and social progress.
About the Symposium
IoT applications are the most valuable and important entities of the current digital era. Further, the Internet of Military Things (IoMT), sometimes known as the Internet of Battlefield Things (IoBT), is a subset of the Internet of Things (IoT) designed for current battle operations and intelligent warfare. Furthermore, attacks on IoT applications, from the perspective of the defence industry, are more dangerous than attacks on normal information. The IoT applications security in the defence industry ensures the organization’s brand image and the customers’ trust. However, the challenges associated with IoT application security issues are massive and critical. The international symposium is a unique one because securing IoT applications from manipulation in a defence organisation with different approaches in order to maintain security has never been worked upon, especially from a defence industry perspective. As an outcome, the symposium will make an important contribution to the security and management of IoT applications. The main feature of this symposium is its narrowed-down approach. i.e., the symposium will provide the needs and importance of security and privacy for IoT applications in the defence industry, current issues and challenges, gaps in existing techniques and efforts, as well as recommendations for future researchers. Furthermore, securing IoT applications through the decision-making process plays a key role. So, this symposium will focus on all the basic, hybrid, and new ways of making decisions based on multiple criteria that will help secure and sustainable IoT applications.
