EAAW X will address some of the biggest challenges and opportunities in contemporary naval operations through exploration of some key themes.
Artificial intelligence and autonomy, meeting the power and thermal managment requirements of emerging technologies and warship capability and maintainability are just some of the issues that will be examined across this two-day conference.
Submission Guidelines
Abstracts of 250-500 words are being accepted for EAAW X. The synopsis should introduce the topic and its relevance, the proposed method or approach to be discussed in the paper and the expected results and (direction of the) conclusions.
Successful authors will be asked to develop their abstract and submit a full technical paper of up to 4000 words by 20 July 2023. Authors of accepted papers will be invited to present these at the conference in November 2023. All presentations will be in English.
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
Accepted papers will be published in accordance with the IMarEST's Open Access Policy and issued a DOI.

Publication
Proceedings from EAAW X will be published open access with DOIs by the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST), in accordance with the IMarEST's Open Access Policy on the IMarEST's online Library.
Venue
The conference will be held in person in Bristol, United Kingdom, between the 28-29 November 2023.
