EduRobotX 2025 is a research and design workshop co-located with the ECTEL 2025 conference:
20th European Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning, ECTEL 2025
Newcastle and Durham, UK | 15-19 September 2025: https://ea-tel.eu/ectel2025/
Over the past 20 years, The European Conference on Technology-Enhanced Learning (EC-TEL) has been at the forefront of exploring how technology can improve education in a variety of contexts. EC-TEL 2025 will be the moment for the community to reflect on the research, innovations and practices developed within the field, to gauge the impact these developments have had on education and the society at large, and to look ahead at how TEL can shape the future of education in increasingly interconnected and diverse environments. ECTEL 2025 will take place face-to-face on 15-19 September 2025 in Newcastle and Durham, UK, with the theme Two Decades of TEL: from Lessons Learnt to Challenges Ahead.
About EduRobotX Workshop
The EduRobotX Workshop 2025 is dedicated to "Co-Creating Innovation for Educational Robots and Robotics for Learning" and is the 3rd International Workshop of the EATEL Special Interest Group on Educational Robots and Robotcis – SIG EduRobotX 2025, https://ea-tel.eu/sig/edurobotx.
This workshop aims to explore how educational and social robots can support diverse learners across all ages and including those with special needs (e.g., neurodivergent individuals, learners with disabilities). We invite extended abstracts showcasing innovative applications in learning and development. Selected authors will be invited to submit full papers for a planned journal special issue on cutting-edge developments in educational robotics.Participants will engage in a collaborative design thinking process using a co-design canvas to develop meaningful, interdisciplinary robotics applications for education and society. The goal is to spark innovation, share knowledge, and shape future research directions in robotics and education.
