IMIS Bhubaneswar is organizing the 3rd International Conference on Business & Geopolitics (ICBGP-2026): Global Strategies in a Changing World Order, a dynamic platform uniting scholars, policymakers, and industry leaders to dissect the co-constitutive bonds between commerce and global power. In an era marked by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, U.S.-China rivalries, Middle East escalations, and Donald Trump's return to the U.S. presidency amplifying protectionism and H-1B disruptions, business transcends economics to become a terrain of influence, supply chain fragmentation, and tech-driven statecraft in AI, semiconductors, and beyond. Set for 6-7 March 2026, this hybrid conference probes how volatile business-geopolitics interactions challenge globalization's "flat earth" myth, drawing on colonial ambiguities to illuminate unpredictable futures of solidarity, exclusion, and transformation. By convening diverse voices, IMIS Bhubaneswar advances critical discourse on these intersections, fostering innovative strategies amid ecological, technological, and political upheavals.
