PREVAIL 2022: Availability, Performance, Security and Testing
Announcing the October 2022 Prevail Virtual conference, presented by the IBM Academy of Technology Worldwide Performance and Availability Community of Practice, a conference for and by technical professionals, where you can build your eminence by presenting a lecture or leading a discussion or workshop, and (for IBM speakers) earn a teaching badge.
IBM has a heritage of engineering and managing for Performance, Availability, Security and Testing. Most of our clients are now heavily using some kind of cloud or containers or micro-services and may be enjoying the benefits, for example flexibly scaling out to support peak load or to manage availability incidents or to face cyber threats.
The PREVAIL 2022 theme will be “Resilient Computing Solutions in a Hybrid world”. The traditional approach of having systems available during “normal” business hours is no longer valid, clients demand access 24 hours a day 365 days a year. As such, systems must now be highly resilient, be secure, be defendable from current and future threats as well as be upgradable online. These requirements drive changes in both technologies as well as how systems are architected. PREVAIL will focus on what is required to build and manage environments in today’s environment.
If you were unable to attend the PREVAIL 2021 conference, you can find the replays on the IBM Academy of Technology events website IBM AoT Events
