ABOUT
Extended Reality (XR) technologies offer immersive environments for neurocognitive assessment, rehabilitation, and digital biomarker research, capturing rich behavioral and physiological data. However, shared methodological frameworks for designing tasks and translating telemetry into clinical measures are still lacking.
XR-NeuroHealth'26 brings together researchers, clinicians, and data scientists to address these validation and evaluation challenges. We welcome interdisciplinary contributions combining XR, HCI, AI, and clinical research. The workshop combines an invited keynote, short paper presentations, breakout discussions, a curated panel, a roundtable, and a collaborative agenda-building session.
TOPICS
I. XR-based Assessment & Rehabilitation Immersive therapy, chronic pain, neurological disorders, ecologically valid task design, human factors, serious games.
II. Telemetry, Multimodal Data & Digital Biomarkers HMD telemetry, motion tracking, gaze, physiological signals, AI/ML for multimodal health data.
III. Clinical Validation & Translation Study design, clinical standards, mixed-methods evaluation, translation into clinical measures and workflows.
IV. Ethics, Accessibility & Reproducibility Responsible data use, inclusive design for patients, open
