APEEN2026: 09th Annual APEEN Conference Department of Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering and Tourism, University of Aveiro Aveiro, Portugal, March 19-20, 2026

The 9th Annual Conference of the Portuguese Association of Energy Economics (APEEN) is fully dedicated to exploring the multiple dimensions of decarbonization in the economy. This theme addresses the crucial role of investment, regulation, and social impact in achieving sustainable and carbon-neutral energy systems.

The University of Aveiro welcomes the 9th Annual APEEN Conference — On Decarbonization of the Economy: Investment, Regulation, and Social Impact — to be held on March 19–20, 2026.

Important Deadline

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

Abstract Submission

Abstrats can only be submitted online trhough EasyChair platform ate November 16th, 2025.

Authors will be notified of the abstract acceptance decision by November 20th, 2025.

Short Paper Submission

Accepted authors should upload their short papers via EasyChair no later than December 21st, 2025.

Authors will receive the final notification of paper acceptance by January 15th, 2026.

Early Registration

Reduced registration fees are available for participants who register by February 15th, 2026.
