The IEEE International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (IEEE CIBCB 2017) will be organized by the University of Manchester, Manchester, UK and will be held at the INNSIDE Hotel from August 23rd to 25th, 2017.
This annual conference has become a major technical event in the field of Computational Intelligence and its application to problems in biology, bioinformatics, computational biology, chemical informatics, bioengineering and related fields. The conference provides a global forum for academic and industrial scientists from a range of fields including computer science, biology, chemistry, medicine, mathematics, statistics, and engineering, to discuss and present their latest research findings from theory to applications.

Submissions for oral and poster presentation are invited from researchers, practitioners and students worldwide. The conference will be in single session format with papers provided as either oral or as poster presentations. The conference format will include

Submission Guidelines
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers of no more than eight (8) pages in IEEE conference format, including results, figures and references. Papers must be in PDF and written in English. Detailed instructions and templates for preparing your manuscripts can be found here.
At maximum, two additional pages are permitted with over-length page charge of US$125/page, to be paid during author registration.
Each paper will be peer-reviewed. Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper at the conference.

Venue
EEE CIBCB 2017 will take place at the hotel INNSIDE Manchester. Part of the Spanish group Melia Hotels International, this stunning new hotel opened in May 2015 and stands in the heart of the vibrant First Street development, located in the centre of Manchester. The hotel is within close proximity of Deansgate and Manchester Central and its privileged location allows easy access to Manchester’s transport links including, Deansgate and Oxford Road rail stations, and Manchester Airport. INNSIDE Manchester offers a selection of flexible spaces, all conveniently dominating the first floor, suitable for all types of corporate and social events. Each of the spaces benefits from natural daylight, complimentary Wi-Fi and built-in audio-visual equipment and they can accommodate up to 220 people.
