ICEBIT 2025 (International Conference on Economy, Business, Innovation, and Technology) is the annual international conference organized by the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana. This event will provide a platform for academics, researchers, industry practitioners, experts, and government representatives to explore the vital role of innovation and digital technologies in reshaping economic and business landscapes.

This year's the conference theme is “ICEBIT 2025: Building Intelligent Economies with Resilient Innovation and Smart Specialization Strategies”.

The ICEBIT 2025 conference will serve as a platform for the exchange of insights among diverse stakeholders in the fields of economy, business and technology. Additionally, it will facilitate the integration of academic and scientific perspectives from researchers, thereby contributing to the advancement of digital and innovative solutions that can guide economic and business practices. This conference aims to establish, in collaboration with local and international partners, a network of expertise that will foster ongoing collaboration in future academic and scientific endeavours in areas of mutual interest.

We invite students, educators, researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and policymakers to submit extended abstracts related to the conference themes, as well as broader topics in development economics, for the opportunity to present at the annual conference hosted by the Faculty of Economy at the University of Tirana, Albania.

All submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind peer-review process and will be published in the conference proceedings book. Selected full papers will be published in the Journal of the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana “The Albanian Journal of Economy and Business”, ISSN 2219-3200. The conference follows a policy of two papers maximum per author.

Participation is open to students, researchers, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and public sector representatives, emphasizing interdisciplinary dialogue and global perspectives.

Submission Guidelines

All submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.Accepted categories include:

• Full papers describing completed research, theoretical contributions, case studies, or applied innovations.

• Posters presenting preliminary findings, work-in-progress, or innovative projects.

Conference Format and LanguageThe conference is planned as an in-person event, with selected sessions streamed online.The official language of the conference is English.

Registration FeeThe registration fee includes:

• Publication of the accepted paper in the Conference Proceedings,

• Access to all conference sessions for co-authors,

• Refreshments during coffee breaks,

• Coverage of other organizational costs.

There are no additional publication or hidden fees.

The fees are:

• 50 Euro per author for participants from academic, research, business, government, or public institutions,

• 30 Euro per author for students.
