The 3rd International Conference on Disaster Management and Climate Change (ICoDMC) 2025 is an biannual conference dedicated to promote recent innovations and share knowledge. This conference aims to bring together scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in the field of environment and disaster management to engage in meaningful discussions on the critical issues and their collective contribution to achieving a sustainable and inclusive future.
The world is still experiencing a lot of natural disasters. Today climate change has hit the whole world with undeniable impacts. The additional concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere increases the temperature of the earth's surface, which is known as global warming. Therefore, steps are needed to prevent the increasing rate of environmental damage. Dissemination of research results on environmental damage and disasters is an important step in environmental and disaster management. The ICoDMC is important and crucial to be held in the present.
The Disaster Research Center Universitas Sebelas Maret successfully held the 2nd ICoDMC via online on August 12, 2023. There were 198 articles submitted to the 2nd ICoDMC, and after being selected, there were 134 articles published to the IOP-EES Proceedings.
