Energy-Efficient Technologies of Hybrid Ship Electrical Power Systems and Their Algorithmic Implementation

EasyChair Preprint 15630

6 pagesDate: December 23, 2024

Abstract

The article examines methods for improving the energy efficiency of ship electrical power systems (SEPS) through the use of hybrid systems and their algorithmic implementation. The main focus is on increasing fuel efficiency and reducing harmful emissions by utilizing alternative energy sources such as photovoltaic systems and battery storage. The economic feasibility of implementing such systems is evaluated, including the payback period and challenges related to their high cost. The proposed algorithms aim to optimize the operation of SEPS, considering various ship operating conditions.
