The Determinant of Excellent Horticulture Commodity in Ngawi Regency

Abstract

The determinant of excellent horticulture commodities is a crucial factor in planning the development of the agricultural sector. The purpose of this research is to identify and determine the potential of excellent horticulture commodities in Ngawi Regency. In this research, we used the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) method and the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. The data for this research was collected from stakeholders in Ngawi Regency. The results of this research show that the SWOT method produced a strategic priority, specifically a combination of Strengths and Opportunities with a value of 3.703. Additionally, the AHP analysis at the criterion level identified shallots as the priority commodity with a weight value of 0.659, and at the alternative level, sustainability was prioritized with a weight of 0.637.
